How does the Best Summer Ever Photo Contest sponsored by Walmart work?
Just register, upload the photo on the "Submit a Photo" page, including a brief description of the summer activity in the photo. You can enter up to five photos per e-mail address.
You can view other great entries and recruit your friends and family to vote for your photo!
Submissions will be accepted beginning Friday, June 4, and continuing through the
end of voting at 4 p.m. Friday, Aug. 20. Enter your photos by Aug. 1 to allow for the maximum time for voting.
Voting is free and will be held from 8 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 1, to 4 p.m. Friday, Aug. 20.
Voters are allowed 5 votes per day per e-mail address.
Contest is open to southwest Iowa residents or anyone visiting southwest Iowa who takes a local photo.
Are there prizes?
Yes! We've got great prizes for the three photos that receive the most votes as well as a judge's choice winner! Prizes will be announced soon! The winning photos will also be featured in The Daily Nonpareil and on NonpareilOnline.com.
