How does the Best Summer Ever Photo Contest sponsored by Walmart work?

Just register, upload the photo on the "Submit a Photo" page, including a brief description of the summer activity in the photo. This can be anything - enjoying the pool, playing with the family pet, going on a picnic, mowing the lawn and so much more. Take your camera with you, because you never know when a great photo op will happen! You can enter up to five photos per e-mail address.

You can view other great entries and recruit your friends and family to vote for your photo!

Click here to view the winners from the 2010 Summer Photo Contest. Submissions will be accepted beginning at midnight Sunday, June 26, and continuing through the end of voting at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 18. Enter your photos by Aug. 1 to allow for the maximum time for voting.

Voting is free and will be held from midnight Monday, Aug. 1, to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 18. Voters are allowed 5 votes per day per e-mail address. Automated voting is prohibited.

Contest is open to southwest Iowa residents or anyone visiting southwest Iowa who takes a local photo.
