Build a diorama (three-dimensional miniature models) with PEEPS - those puffy balls of marshmallow goodness - as the leading characters. All ages are welcome to submit entries into the contest! Here’s how …
1. Go buy some PEEPS.
2. Develop an idea and construct a scene using PEEPS. The topic of the diorama can be fun (PEEPS re-enacting a scene from a movie, real life, a person, an event, etc.) or it can be serious. No, wait. That'd be impossible! You can't build a serious PEEPS diorama.
Characters must be made of actual whole PEEPS. You may add clothing, backgrounds, and props. Dress your Peeps as you see fit. Give them construction paper clothes, toothpick arms, toy props, etc.
3. Take a photo of your PEEPS creation and submit it to this contest website. Then, view entries and vote for your favorite entries from southwest Iowa and the region during the voting phase of the contest. Each voter will be allowed to cast five votes per day per e-mail address. (Automated voting is not allowed.)
Yes. Prizes will be awarded.
The First Place Prize will be a $100 gift certificate to the new online PEEPS & Co® store at peepsandcompany.com. This certificate will be presented within a Gift Box with PEEPS® and other Just Born candy brands. Its total value will be more than $150.
The Second Place Prize will be a $50 gift certificate to the new online PEEPS & Co® store and again, will be packed
in a Just Born Gift Box with PEEPS® and other Just Born candy brands. Its total value will be more than $100.
The Third Place Prize will be a $25 gift card to Peoples True Value Hardware.
Just Born Inc. has permission to post winning diorama images on its PEEPS® Web site. Prizes have been provided by Just Born, mother company of Peeps, Mike and Ike, Hot Tamales and Peanut Chews.
